Generic SFP-25G-LB Compatible 25Gbps SFP28 0W 0dB Passive Loopback Testing Module Dawnray’s SFP-25G-LB is a 25Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP28 loopback module for cost effective 25GBASE Ethernet network port testing. SFP28 LB routes 25.78Gb/s data stream from transmitting side back to receiving side of the same host port by looping back the electrical signal. This loopback is fully compliant with SFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3by 25GBASE-CR and 25GAUI standard. The electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the internal loopback by AC coupling internally. The SFP28 loopback module implements transmit and receive differential signal for 25.78125Gbps data rate. A bicolor LED indicates the power status. MSA memory map is accessible via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our loopback is designed for R&D evaluation, production testing of SFP28 equipped network routers/switches, blade servers and adapter cards. Protocol-transparent design ensures widely compatibility with various signal standards, including 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GbE), 32G/16G Fibre Channel and proprietary interconnection.
