Generic QSFPDD-400G-LB Compatible 400Gbps PAM4 QSFP-DD 1.5-16W 0dB Passive Loopback Testing Module Dawnray’s QSFPDD-400G-LB is a 400Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable – Double Density QSFP-DD loopback module for cost effective 400GBASE Ethernet network port testing. QSFP-DD LB routes 425Gb/s data stream from transmitting side back to receiving side of the same host port by looping back the electrical signal. This loopback is fully compliant with QSFP-DD Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3cd 400GBASE-CR8 and IEEE 802.3bs 400GAUI-8 standard. The electrical interface is MSA compliant 76-pin edge type connector and the internal loopback by AC coupling internally. The QSFP-DD loopback module implements 8 independent 53.125Gbps PAM4 transmit and receive signal channels in each differential trace for an aggregate 425Gbps data rate. It also supports 8 channels 25.78125Gbps NRZ signals for 206.25Gbps testing. Different power dissipation class up to 16 W is programmable and a bicolor LED indicates the power status. Real time temperature, voltage monitoring and CMIS memory map are accessible via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our loopback is designed for R&D evaluation, production testing of QSFP-DD equipped network routers/switches, blade servers and adapter cards. Protocol-transparent design ensures widely compatibility with various signal standards, including 400 Gigabit Ethernet (400GbE), 8x HDR InfiniBand and proprietary interconnection.
