Description The Suture Passer, as part of the Meniscus Mender II (MMII) System, is designed for suturing the meniscus under direct arthroscopic monitoring. The Suture Passer can utilize curved and straight Spinal Needles. During meniscal repair, the Suture Passer is used to pass suture material through the patented MMII Loop. The tiny jaws of each Suture Passer are smooth to minimize the risk of crimping the suture material. The selection of a Straight or Curved Suture Passer depends upon the patient’s anatomy.
