This product is reusable and should be replaced when it becomes worn or damaged. The 3M Filter Retainer 501 is to be used with compatible products. Replacement part can extend respiratory equipment service life. What happens if I do not use a particulate filter with my cartridges? The particulate filter removes the tiny droplets or particles in the air (eg. Mists from spray painting).
